Dear TUE Families,
I am thrilled to begin my eighteenth year in education as a Thomas Ultican Wildkitten! I have been a part of the Blue Springs School District both as a teacher and now as an administrator. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri, I taught Middle School Spanish in the Independence School District. The last eight years, I have taught Middle School Spanish at Brittany Hill Middle School and Paul Kinder Middle School. During my time teaching, I received both my master's degree in administration and specialist's degree in superintendency. This year I am excited to begin my first year as administrative intern for Thomas Ultican Elementary.
On a personal note, my husband and I live in the Blue Springs School District with our two boys: Brayden (9) and Hudson (7). We like to play board games, spend time with our families and friends, and travel. I also enjoy reading whenever I have a chance.
At BSSD, we believe that every student has a voice and is a valued part of our community. The best way to ensure our students feel valued is to support our students is to unite the home community with that of the school. We hope to foster a learning environment where students thrive academically and have the confidence that they can be whatever they set out to be. I look forward to working with you for the success of our students and am grateful to partner with you in educating your children.
Thank you,
Mrs. Heather Wells
